My journey to the path of yoga began in when I took my first class in 2010. At that time, I was studying to become a mental health counselor and could feel in a very personal way that this practice had the capacity to heal mind, body, and spirit. I could feel this within myself, and I saw others I practiced with experiencing the same. I decided to complete training to become an instructor so that I could help others to find their own unique path to personal healing and wellness. I am a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance and a certified Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist through the Himalayan Institute. In 2017, I completed training to become a certified Buti Instructor.
I am grateful to have been shown, again and again, that my life’s work is holding space for people and giving to others what I have been given. It is my constant goal to meet my students where they are, using compassion, creativity, and authenticity to help them reach their goals.
