I developed my passion for health and well being while working toward my degree in biology at FGCU. My first passion was permaculture, a sustainable way of gardening, which I learned about by volunteering in the food forest on campus. I enjoy learning about the power of plants, organic food, and alternative/holistic approaches to healing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Opening my eyes to this type of living, I started taking yoga classes, which immediately gave me a grounding experience. Since indulging in yoga on a daily routine, I have felt the benefits of mental clarity, experienced emotional growth and release and found the power in taking mindful action.
Most importantly, yoga has helped me discover self love. As I would have benefited from having these tools at an early age, I got my kids yoga certification with Kidding Around Yoga and love teaching these practices to young hearts and minds.
