Betty Frank-Bailey, RYT 200
I was initially drawn to yoga more than 20 years ago to improve my physical strength and flexibility. After a deep personal loss, I found my yoga practice offered solace from my grief. I have learned that yoga offers so many unexpected benefits; it has served as a path to self-discovery for me. Practicing yoga can serve as a mirror, providing each of us with the opportunity to see not only how we hold ourselves physically in each posture, but also how we hold ourselves mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually.
Motivated to share the many benefits of yoga with others, I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training in May 2017 at Yoga Bird Studio in Fort Myers, FL and became a certified Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist through the Himalayan Institute in February 2018. I strive to make every class an inclusive, nourishing, and deeply satisfying experience for each of my students by focusing on breath and alignment to cultivate stillness and peace within.
Each class is adapted to the needs of the individual students in attendance and options are offered as needed. I look forward to meeting you on your mat and practicing yoga together – to breathe, to flow, and to let go.
