My yoga teaching career began with Bikram yoga in 1997, but it wasn’t until after giving birth to my daughter in 2003 that yoga truly facilitated in my transformation. I found a deeper connection to myself through the linking of breath and movement that is fostered within the vinyasa approach. My dedicated practice resulted in the release of the 75lbs I accumulated while pregnant and, more importantly, the alleviation of many addictive patterns and psychic and emotional scars including panic & anxiety symptoms.

I enjoy teaching meditation, pranayama, yoga philosophy & all levels of instruction of asana from basic/gentle to advanced levels. I have Yoga Alliance ERYT accredited 200 hour certifications in both Sampoorna and Satsang Yoga and 500 hours through the Himalayan Institute. 

As a licensed psychotherapist, I utilize evidence-based psychological techniques with the ancient healing modalities of yoga and meditation. I will be offering counseling services through my LLC in 2020.

Inspired by the themes of transformation, imperfection, and acceptance, I attempt to incorporate lightness, music, creative sequencing, and direct, yet thoughtful instruction in my asana classes. My aim is to extend humor and honesty to my students in order to support them in discovering the grace in their own imperfections. Believing the most authentic teacher comes from within one’s self and is slowly revealed and illuminated by the practice, my intention is to simply be a guide on that path.
