I have lived in different places around the world and have always kept active with aerobic and weight conditioning. When I moved to SWFL I finally incorporated yoga into my life. The impact of yoga has been transformational as many of my friends would tell you. I have become much more calm, grounded and accepting of “what is”. Yoga has truly changed how I view life and it’s wonderful.
I completed my 200 YTT with Jacqueline Chiodo because I plan to continue yoga for the rest of my life, so I wanted to expand my alignment knowledge and to deepen my practice beyond the physical practice.
Upon completion of my training, I found a strong desire to share my newfound knowledge. I have always loved helping people so teaching yoga was an easy path to take! Helping people move through challenges, learning more about themselves and having wonderful “ah ha” moments is so very gratifying.
I’ve been very fortunate to have the ability to guide students through a wide range of classes from Basic, Gentle, Flow, Yin, Myofascial Release and Restorative Yoga. My hope is that they too can find what they need physically, mentally and emotionally through developing their yoga practice just as I have.
Continuous learning has always been a part of my life and I am pursuing my 500 YTT with Yoga Medicine and Tiffany Cruikshank, delving deeply into myofascial release, yin, and restorative yoga as well as anatomy and mental health. I look forward to sharing what I learn as I go down this new path.
