With over 15 years of teaching experience, Jacqueline has led hundreds of students worldwide through this transformational program and she continues to be inspired by the power of this practice when studied and shared with a group. Having witnessed countless lives transformed within the groups she leads in Costa Rica, she is grateful to be offering her program, this season, at Joyful Yoga.

This 20-week journey through yoga is a life- enhancing experience. Whether you learn the principles of leading a safe and effective yoga class for your personal practice or you feel inspired to teach others, this program will expand your understanding of the entire system of Yoga. You will complete this journey feeling confident to lead a safe and encouraging class to others and inspired to live a yogic lifestyle. Our time together is designed to awaken a greater sense of self and purpose using the tools within this ancient system of connection and self care. We will also explore the teachings of Yoga and Ayurveda and apply them to modern life in practical and effective ways.

The course syllabus includes:The 8-limbed path of the Yoga Sutras, Introduction to Ayurveda, Anatomical alignment in asana offering cues with modifications for all levels, principles of sequencing, hands-on assists, Pranayama techniques, Practical and inspirational exploration of the Chakra system, Kids Yoga Training, Mantras, Meditation, Yoga Nidra, The Yoga Sutras, Karma Yoga, Practice Teaching/ Feedback sessions and silent periods.

The Program will consist of 10 weekend modules, meeting friday evening 6-8pm and all day Saturday and Sunday 9:30-6:30pm for the dates listed below.

February: 8-10 and 22-24
March 8-10 and 22-24
April 5-7: and 12-14
May 3-6
Friday May 10th Graduation.
