Buti Yoga – Chakra Series

Come experience this challenging, dynamic Buti yoga class with an emphasis on aligning the 7 major energy centers, or chakras, located throughout the body. Each week will have music and asanas that focus on a different chakra and will end in a brief meditation. Spet 6th-Oct 25th.
***No class on Sept. 20th

Not sure what Buti is? The word comes from the Marathi Indian culture and it means “a cure that has been hidden or kept secret.”
The Buti Yoga philosophy is that every woman has the power to transform and heal her body from within.
Buti Yoga focuses on activating the Spiral Structure of the core to engage the deep abdominal muscles and stimulate the endocrine system.
Come experience this dynamic asana practice fused with primal movement, tribal dance and deep core engagement.
This is a challenging level 2 class with loud music and you
will sweat and work hard. Bring a towel and water.

Recovering Human

You are invited to join Writer and Coach, Molly Franken, at her Recovering Human Workshop.

This is a personal development workshop focused on the goals of vulnerability, acceptance and letting go. It’s tenets include unearthing our truths and recovering the deepest and most human parts of ourselves. All that stuff we’re scared to let people see? We are going to dig into it and own it.

Recovering Human integrates discussion, writing exploration, meditation, group sharing and intuitive movement to re-discover and deepen our human-ness. There will be some ‘dance’ breaks, and yes, they may not be in rhythm. It isn’t always pretty but we allow ourselves to show up anyway. That’s what being human is all about.

Walk away from this workshop with the ongoing and open invitation to step closer towards yourself in your daily life.

This workshop is specifically created as a fun and safe environment for deep work. If you’re human, you’re invited!

Please arrive 10 minutes early so you can get settled. We will start promptly at 1pm. Bring an open heart, a pen, journal and water/snack. Wear whatever is comfortable.

Molly’s Bio:

Hi there! I’m Molly. I am a writer and a certified coach. I specialize in Recovering Human. Yep, that means recovering our deepest and most core human elements, the stuff that scares the heck out of us, makes us all exactly who we are and connects us to every other human and living thing on this planet. I also presently work with people in the areas of healthy boundaries and illness support.

I have previously worked in the tv & film industry, as well as the non-profit sector. It is on these paths that it became clear that story – the human story, the hero’s journey, the universality of truth and connection are what I most wanted to explore in this lifetime. I have lived with a chronic illness for a decade, considering it my biggest challenge and my best teacher.

In my downtime, you can find me reveling in nature, reading a library’s worth of books and deep diving into the discovery of all things human. I hope the intensive work and reflection I’ve done along the way will help guide you along yours.

OUR CIRCLE:
The Nurtured Mother and Joyful Yoga invite all moms, whether pre-conception, pregnant, or postpartum, to meet the local Doulas and connect with other moms in the community at our free monthly circle gathering.

YOGA FOR MOTHERHOOD:
You are invited to participate in our complimentary intro to Prenatal and Postpartum yoga sessions either before or after our circle gathering.

This practice has been validated by hundreds of scientific studies from the most brilliant minds today.  This course will give you the knowledge necessary to establish a consistent meditation practice that will enhance and improve every aspect of your life. PSM is recommended for anyone who wishes to know deeper peace, improved healing, more creativity and enjoy greater freedom and mastery of life.
